The ViperTag™ marker folds up onto itself and simply attaches to the inside wall of the gunners turret with its built-in magnets. When needed for deployment, the gunner simply grabs the marker and throws it in the general direction of the threat. Due to the added magnet weight, the marker unfolds itself in midair. The markers elastic strips force it to coil upon ground contact, providing a three dimensional vantage point that is easily seen from up to 500 meters away.
